Our Story
Hammond Studios was founded on July 18th, 2006. We are a locally owned company, operating in the Hammond area of Indiana. Years ago, before Hammond Studios became what it is today, we were simply photography enthusiasts, taking photos for friends and family. Eventually, we had the opportunity to expand our skillset, and we began to get paid opportunities. In 2006, we decided to make photography our career, and Hammond Studios was born. Now, we get to put our years of experience to use in a variety of ways for all kinds of different people, and each day brings about new and exciting opportunities to help our customers capture their memories.
Our Passion
For us, photography is more than just a job – it’s a passion. We love the artistic aspect of photography, and it is a perfect outlet for our creativity. Sometimes, we get to help people bring an idea to life, like when we help them capture the perfect bridal party photo. We enjoy getting to use photography for storytelling, and each wedding gives us a new opportunity to tell the unique story of two becoming one. We love getting to work with people who are experiencing some of life’s most precious moments, and we get to experience it all with them. We love getting to take amazing photos of people and see the joy in their faces when they get to see the final result. And finally, when you think about it. . .our job is to get smiled at all day. We love that too.
